On Tuesday 28th January, Edelman hosted the launch of the 20th annual Trust Barometer - the world’s most robust exploration of trust in business, government, NGOs and media, surveying more than 34,000 respondents in 28 markets.
We have been studying the power and impact of trust for 20 years. This year we reflect on the role that trust has played in shaping our society, as well as exploring how and why it must act as the linchpin between our institutions and the public in the future.
Our guests for the 2020 launch were Rt Hon Amber Rudd, former Home Secretary and Tony Hall, the Director-General of one of Britain's most venerable institutions. Richard Edelman, Global CEO, and Ed Williams, President and CEO, Edelman EMEA presented the global and UK findings respectively from the 2020 study.
