Ali Gee, Board Director and Head of Consultancy at 3 Monkeys, joins Edelman in 2010 to launch and head up a new Planning Department. She will be the agency’s first Planning Director and will be part of the UK Leadership team. Ali will help drive the growth of the practice and support the development across the agency of content-led campaigns rooted in insights.
During her five year stint at 3 Monkeys, Ali led on new business development as well as a number of key accounts including Microsoft, Castrol, RSA, Thompson Local and travelsupermarket.com. Her 17-year career in PR has seen her agency side at RED and QBO (Bell Pottinger) and as Head of PR (Multimedia) at Orange. She has also spent two years in the US.
Edelman has made a further appointment in Will Humphrey, who joins the Planning department in January 2010 as Head of Planning. He comes from Lowe London where he worked on General Motors, MTV, Johnson&Johnson, Knorr, Twinings and Trees for Cities. During his time at Lowe, Will co-founded AdGrads, a careers advisory blog for graduates. Will previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi.
