Learning and development at Edelman is designed to meet the needs of the individual, the team and the company in achieving their goals. Training needs are regularly assessed, with each member of staff receiving a tailored programme of formal training, workshops and coaching.

In addition to training sessions with internal and external experts, Edelman offers on-the-job coaching and mentoring. All managers receive comprehensive training on management, appraising, coaching and delegating, and are also trained in staff development.

Regular appraisals are used to discuss their career prospects, promotion, areas for training and development, and ensure effective performance management, goal setting and career planning.
