London – Edelman has appointed Grant Clelland, Editor of Financial News, to a Director position within the agency’s Corporate & Financial practice. Clelland will report into Group Managing Director, Alex Bigg, and will be responsible for a portfolio of financial services clients and driving new business. He will join the agency in September.
Clelland has been Editor of Financial News, a Dow Jones publication, since 2009, having joined the publication in 2005 as Deputy Editor. He was previously Associate Editor of The Business and gained international experience as Business Editor of the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong from 2000-2002. Prior to this, Clelland spent twelve years at the BBC, including as Assistant Editor on Newsnight and editor of Business Breakfast and Working Lunch.
